Day by day

Day 1 : Baltra Island & Santa Cruz Island: Bachas Beach

Arrival will take place at approximately midday (local) and our guide will meet you in the lobby with a signboard identifying our Yacht Anahi. One of our crew members will take care of your baggage and transport it directly to the yacht. We will first be taken by public bus to El Muelle (pier), where our Zodiacs will be waiting to transport you to Yacht Anahi. After a welcome drink from our Captain and crew, you will be assigned to your cabins.

Santa Cruz Island: Bachas Beach

After lunch, the guide will briefly explain about the afternoon activities. We will embark with our zodiacs at 2 p.m. to go to Playa Bachas. The sand here is made from decomposed coral and is a favorite nesting spot for sea turtles. A side by one of the beaches is a small lagoon, where you can see occasional flamingos, as well other animals such as black-necked stilts or whimbrels.

The second beach is longer and contains two abandoned barges, which were left behind during the Second World War, when the US used Baltra island as a military base. You will see sea lions, marine iguanas, and many marine birds on this beach. You will be able to relax on the beach and spend some time with the playful sea lions who swim with you.

Day 2 : Genovesa Island: Darwin Bay & Darwin Bay Beach

Darwin bay

6. We will arrive at Genovesa Island. This is the Galapagos Archipelago's northeasternmost Island. It has just 14 sq. It measures only 14 sq. km and has a maximum height of 64m (210ft). The beautiful Great Darwin Bay is surrounded by high cliffs and has a volcanic caldera that formed the horse-shoe-shaped island. It has now collapsed its wall, leaving behind the stunning Great Darwin Bay. Genovesa is not home to any historical eruptions, but there are young lava flows along the flanks.

Genovesa is also called Bird Island because of its large number and variety of bird colonies. It is home to a large number of frigate birds. This island is also home to the Red-footed Boobies and Nazca Boobies.

Darwin Bay Beach

The Darwin Bay Beach is the first visitor site. This beautiful spot is due to the abundance of seabirds that nest on the saltbush plants. We will be visiting it in the morning. The Prince Philip s Steps is the second visitor site. We will visit it in the afternoon. We will make 25m of stairs to one of the most beautiful bird nesting areas in the islands.

Genovesa will offer the opportunity to go panga riding, snorkeling, kayaking, and walking.
